When you are planning and implementing your printable escape room event you will of course want the experience to be as high quality as possible. Here are some suggestions that can help.
First, you want the materials that you use to be of good quality. For instance, you want to have a color printer that prints accurate color. You can use a laser or inkjet printer for this. If the colors are not accurate or difficult to see, your group may have difficulty solving the puzzles. This is because many puzzles rely on knowing the colors of the clues. Also, any copy paper is usually fine to use.
If you think that you may be reusing any of the game pieces you may want to opt of printing on thicker paper like card stock. If you may be playing the games over and over with different groups you can consider laminating the clues and/or instruction and answer pages. This will allow you to save time and money by not having to repeatedly reprinting.
